Instructor Training
We can train you to become an Instructor
Many pilots enjoy instructing and introducing new pilots to the sport. The route to becoming an instructor can begin once you have a 50 hours of solo gliding. The Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) identifies pilots with the suitable skills and will suggest that they embark on some preparatory training.
Our CFI is a Regional Examiner and we can complete most of your training on site drawing from our existing Full Cat Instructor team to provide you with training. We can also make use of our simulator to practice ‘patter’ and instructional techniques.
